Biography
Painting with acrylics, Rob uses numerous glazes to build up tonal depth, giving his work a dark rich finish. Influenced by artists Johannes Vermeer and Edward Hopper, Rob’s paintings have a similar quality of stillness.
Rob studied illustration at Kingston-on-Thames School of Art. In 2005 he moved from London to Cornwall to be nearer to the sea and to paint full time.
